Hongbin Silk Painting

Hongbin Silk Painting is inspired by folk collage and created by an artist called Yuan Hongbin coming from Ma’anshan, Anhui Province. With a ball of cotton, a pair of scissors, and replacing glue stuffs by static electricity generated by manual friction and natural adhesion of fibers, anything can be shown vividly by cotton.

Hongbin Silk Painting is made by hand and is particular about the color. The natural cotton for painting should go through sophisticated high-temperature processing and dyeing, in order to make sure the pictures are beautiful and mildew proof and colorfast.

Hongbin Silk Paintings can be made into miniature ornaments and also large murals. It can be used as elegant decorations in halls, or as precious gifts for relatives and friends.
